Fish Fry and Fishing

Well hello again everyone. It's Sunday March 30 and the fishing has been good the last few days. Here are a couple of fish that Terry got today up in Rodman Slough. He took Tom with him today since it was still too cold for me.

Tom also caught fish and in fact it was the most fish he has caught in one day on artificial lures. Here are a couple of his fish. In fact he lost the big one on the first try but got it back. Of course, he lost his "Beaver lure", when he lost it the first time so he tied another

one on and as you can see, he actually got them both back when he caught the fish below!! How fun is that!!

Here is a picture of Tom and Janice at the fish fry we had last night. We had 5 fish that Terry caught and that made 14 fillets which was plenty with hushpuppies, slaw, and potatoes with Butter cake and chocolate frosting for dessert!! Yum, yum.

Janice and Tom live in Washington and hopefully we will visit them in May when we go over there from Idaho at the end of the big fishing tournament in Coeur d'Alene.
Jim and Carol Day below caught several fish today as well, in the same slough where Terry and Tom were fishing. It was at the north end of Clearlake which was about 10 miles across water. The wind was blowing sooo bad when they finished, Terry called and Janice and I trailered the two boat trailers up to Lakeport to pick them up. That saved them a lot of bouncing on the way back to camp.

This was the fish fry last night and the weather was actually pretty good. It was lots of fun and we won't forget it or our friends.

Cheers were had by all. Terry's had enough photos on this site, so it was my turn to be in the picture!!
Hope you all enjoy our trip. We leave here on Tuesday heading north!!
Sandy
