Windy Day at Lake Amistad TX
Mexican border crossing at Lake Amistad.
We plan on going back there but not sure when. Maybe this fall sometime in between rallies and fishing tournaments.
We went to Lake Amistad in Del Rio on the 2nd of February for three days. It was very interesting to see the houses there with their drive thru garages for their cars and boats. This has become a haven for bass fishermen. These are just some of the houses that we saw there.
The houses have lake views. This lake is huge!! We only fished a small portion of it and did not venture into the Mexico waters since you need a Mexican license for that area. We went to the border station, but didn't go into Mexico since we didn't have our passports in the car at the moment.

See you around the corner some day!! Terry and Sandy
We ate at Byron Velvick's restaurant (mexican) and he was actually there taking care of business.
The campground was nothing to write home about, but it was adequate and they let you park you boat at the campsite which was nice. Some places don't allow you to park on the grass.
