Hello everyone. I think Mary Lou and Joanne will appreciate this picture since it was their sinks that I first saw. I think I will really like this black sink. We are still waiting on the bar top to be replaced since this one is not wide enough. It should be 24 inches but is only 18. Someone at the tile company messed up this one!!
The wood floor was put down on Thursday. It really looks nice and wish we could have put it in some other part of the house, but it wasn't cheap!! The painters are still working on the study doors. They did a terrible job on the finish so they are now taking off all the finish to redo. If that doesn't work, I guess they will have to get new doors and start over. They put the doors in the garage so they had more light and could see what they were doing. They redid the molding and it looks good now except for the trey ceiling which will need to be redone because the joints at the corners don't match up good enough. Terry's new slogan is "Good enough is not good enough".
The front doors arrived on Friday and of course they will have to be stained also!! Hope they get it right the first time. They should be stained the same as the cabinets.
We had a big rock on the side of the yard and asked the guy there digging holes to move it to the middle of this group of trees that is just behind the patio. We missed it of course so don't have any pictures of him moving the stone. Our neighbor said he had his bucket move it about two feet at a time and then finally got to a place he could push it with the front loader. It's a great place to have lunch. The equipment below is what he used to move the rock.
He's digging the hole now for the propane tank and the next picture shows the tank in the ground and the gas company there to run the line to the house. They fill it up to 80% so there's room for vaporization. We will be on a route and they will top it off monthly or every two weeks during the months we need heat. We can't imagine that we will use much since we have propane in the MH and haven't bought any since December and we only have a 70 gal tank. Right now it reads 46% full!! Of course we only cook with it now.

Then he had to dig a line for the sewer pipe from the rv space to the septic tank. Then he had to measure to make sure he had enough slope. Terry's figures it will take a week for the dump to get to the septic tank!!
The tank is all hooked up now and all he had to do is hook it up to the system that will phone the home office if there is a problem, get the pump up and running and cover it up. We will have to ad chlorine occasionally. Of course, we will need electricity to run the pump and we have none at the moment!

When we left on Thursday the rv space was ready for staining as seen below. The metal roof has now been ordered and the rock should go on soon. After all that is done they will complete the drive. Only 30 feet will be concrete and then the rest will be crushed granite.
They had to use very big brackets for these beams. This is a good look at the front where the gates will go. I think we need a big Texas star or Longhorn!!! Right!
I don't know how this guy is going to get all that stain out of his hair and off his skin!! It was blowing everywhere. They weren't finished when we left yesterday so will get more pictures today and next week.
The equipment guy (John) put lots of the rock from the holes he dug in the low area where the rv drive would be, then he put dirt on top so now there is a road there. The dump trucks came in Friday and unloaded 4 to 5 more loads of dirt for the drain field and drove across the rv drive. If it will hold those trucks, it should be fine for the rv.
We took this picture from the cul-de-sac so you can see how Terry will be backing in. Also, any of you rver's who want to visit.

Well, that's it for today. Hope you all have a great end of summer.
